One short text, three thoughtful questions and a reading rhythm of your own. Today's session takes about 5 minutes.
Results vary by person, passage, language proficiency, age and device conditions.
Practise comprehension strategies, not speed alone.
PACE + COMPREHENSION
What does speed reading with comprehension mean?
Speed reading is not a race to pass every word as quickly as possible. The practical aim is to find a pace that suits the text and the reading purpose while preserving the main idea, connections and important details.
Why is speed alone not enough?
Words per minute describes pace, but it cannot prove that a passage was understood. FastReadRecall therefore considers pace alongside comprehension questions and effective reading speed.
How should practice be selected?
Begin with a no-signup reading speed test, then choose meaning groups, main idea, scanning or inner-speech awareness according to your goal. Deliberately slowing down for an unfamiliar or dense text is normal.
